Dearest Karen,
If I have been remiss at thanking you for all you have done for me, please let me thank you now.
When my husband died over 2 years ago and I was crying uncontrolably one day my phone rang and guess who the caller was ? It was you. You were so comforting and kind to me. You asked me to come visit with you in your office at COR. I gladly excepted your kind offer. We talked and prayed together for over two hours. You have no idea just how much that helped me.
Now the good news. As you know I am now remarried to a wonderful gentlemen and so very happy. Guess who officated at our wedding ceremony ? It was you and what a wonderful job you did. You are truly an inspiration to me.

I have been working hard at setting up a website and made it a personal mission (mistake no.1) to get it done this week. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and them I read this prayer and took a step back. 10 minutes later I was contacted be a Christian Web Hoster who is taking on my site and is helping to get it up and running. Thanks for the reminder to back up and let God work.

Please know that although my family and I can’t be there in person for this tremendous event we will be with all of you in spirit. Here in the Pacific Northwest our daughter Meredith will be taking her own “Sacred Steps” on the volleyball court for Bellevue Christian School at the same time you are taking steps for your noble cause.
